2003Summary

One world, many worlds.

One world to be reached with the good news of Jesus Christ! Within that one world there are many worlds – countries, nations, nationalities, tongues, tribes and people groups.

In his book Operation World, Patrick Johnstone lists 6 continents; 237 states and territories; 12000 ethnolinguistic groups; 3839 peoples in Africa alone; 482 cities with 1 million inhabitants and 20 cities with over 10 million.

Staggering statistics – but this is the world; these are the many worlds; that God has commissioned His people to go into! We all have a part to play in reaching those needy harvest fields – at home or overseas. Through our praying; in our giving; perhaps in our going; in sending and supporting others; in sowing; in reaping – and looking to God to give the increase!

What a challenge! But what a God! Do you want to know more about what God is doing across the world today? In some of those many worlds? Plan to come to Worldwide 2003. You will be challenged! You will be encouraged! Bring others with you. In the meantime, please pray for the week’s events and for our speakers.
