Worldwide Catch up!

Media

Catch up!

Yes, that's catch up, not ketchup!

The growing trend in today's TV is to have the 'Catch up' facility which enables viewers to watch, at any time, programmes they have missed and at Worldwide we are pleased that we can offer this mission resource completely free of charge.

Donating to Missions

FINANCE

Donating to Missions

The end of the tax year (5th April) is approaching fast.  Now is a good time for taxpayers to review their giving to Missions.  Under the Government’s Gift Aid Scheme a donation of £100 will produce a tax refund of £25 to the Convention which will enhance the amount which we can pass on to Missions.

Prayer

2014 Programme Launch

We have planned our launch this year for Thursday 8th May and the invitations to this are being issued this week to local clergy, mission agency representatives and former missionaries. Please pray that these will not be ignored but that they will draw in a good response. Ministers / pastors are very busy people so it is particularly encouraging for us if they make the effort to attend.

Church Alive 2014

Continue to pray about this event which runs from 1st to 4th May, details of which are on our website. The arrangements have been finalised and our leaflets etc. are being circulated. Please pray that our publicity will be effective and that many will come to the various venues.

Committee Meeting

We have one of our regular organising meetings at the end of the month and would ask for your prayers as we finalise arrangements for our Launch, review any changes to the 2014 programme and begin to think about 2015.

Accommodation

We provide accommodation for a number of our speakers each year and, for a variety of reasons, our list of volunteers has declined over the years. Please pray that others will come forward to fill the gaps and if you would be interested in answering that prayer please contact the Convention Secretary, Lesley Stewart.
