Prayer

Launch

We have had the annual launch of our programme for the upcoming Convention as a prayer focus for the last couple of months and do so again for April. We have done this because this event which will take place on Wednesday 10th May, is the main opportunity which we have for publicising our 2017 programme and distributing our literature, and needs maximum prayer support if it is to be effective.

This year for the first time, the launch will have FOUR different strands – more details next time – which has increased the amount of work involved in preparation. So please pray for those with the responsibility for the various strands, for catering etc. that all will run smoothly.

Also, please pray for the invitations as they go out over the next few weeks to the various groups targeted in each strand, that they will be favourably received and positively responded to.

New Initiatives

Give thanks for a number of new initiatives being planned for this year’s convention which will bring a freshness to the programme and use exciting new ways to allow people to engage with the work of mission. Please pray as the details for these are finalised.

Publicity

Our programme leaflet is with the designers at present before being passed over to the printers. Please pray that all the various stages, including proof reading, will flow without interruption so that we end up with an attractive document which will be ready in good time for 10th May.

Committee Meeting

As ever, we ask for prayer for the committee which will meet ( DV ) on Tuesday 25th April. Our agenda will be dominated by finalising the various aspects of the launch and we will need God’s guidance to ensure that all we decide is in line with His will.
