Bangor Worldwide Starts Tonight!

Please pray for tonight - the opening evening of Worldwide 2010 (@ 7.30pm), with the amazing title 'Salvation belongs to our God!':

• pray for all who will take part tonight, especially Chris Wright as he unpacks and shares God's word
• pray for Alistair Hamill, the worship leader, that he will receive strength from God as he leads worship. Alistair has been suffering from nerve pains in his forearms and fingers over recent weeks
• pray that all the technology works - and for the technical team!
• give thanks that we will be making available for purchase (£5) tonight a dvd of last year's interview with Dr Helen Roseveare, on the subject 'Digging Ditches'.
• pray that many will take up the invitation to acess the re-designed Convention website which will be launched on Saturday
• pray for all our speakers across the week, in relation to their Convention inputs but also as they speak in many local pulpits this Sunday, and the closing Sunday (28 August)
• pray that many hearts will be challenged about getting involved, in some way, in mission - praying, giving or going!!
• pray for a real sense of God's presence and power across Convention week

And don't forget to plan to come to as many meetings as you can at Worldwide 2010!!
