Musalaha & Salim

Reconciliation and peace are central biblical themes and Jesus often spoke of the challenge to love one another. Musalaha works with Palestinian Christians and Messianic Jews to promote reconciliation. Watch this video which features one of our 2017 speakers, Salim Munayer, founder and director of Musalaha.

Dr Bob Fetherlin

Dr Bob Fetherlin serves as President of One Mission Society based at their headquarters in Indiana, USA. He has a wealth of mission experience having served with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Mali, West Africa for eight years. OMS exists to establish responsible, reproducing, Christ centred churches among the nations.

Bob will be joining us at our 2017 Convention.

Point for Prayer

Our Work

The work of Bangor Worldwide is founded on prayer and has been since it began over 80 years ago. Give thanks that for nearly all this time Worldwide supporters have been meeting in Bangor each Monday morning (Congregational Church, Central Avenue at 11am) to provide prayer support for the Convention and pray that this meeting will go from strength to strength. Give thanks also that the numbers receiving our monthly prayer update have been growing steadily since it began a number of years ago, to the present figure of around 600. Please pray that this number will continue to grow by new supporters signing on through our website and that we would all stay faithful in prayer for the work of the Convention.

Committee Meeting

The Worldwide Committee has its next meeting on Wednesday 7th December. Please pray for us as we deal with a range of issues including near year’s Convention programme, finance and as we consider refreshing the membership with new people. Pray that we would be guided to the people of God’s choice.

Finance

Continue to pray for our Treasurers as they finalise the accounts for 2016 and prepare for a Finance Committee meeting on 6th December. Pray that we will have the necessary guidance as we seek to disperse funds in a way that is pleasing to God and in line with His will.
