POINTS FOR PRAYERTHANKSAs we move from one year to the next, please take time to thank God for all the blessings which He has showered on the work of the Convention over this past year. We have had the best attendances at the Convention meetings that anyone can remember and as our books are closed for the year, it is so encouraging to note that our income reached nearly £ 197 k which is over £ 16 k up on last year ( 9.25 % ). Please pray that as this money is dispersed to some 150 mission agencies that it will also be an encouragement to them and that God would guide them in its use for the extension of His kingdom. LAUNCHPlease pray for the committee as it makes plans for our publicity Launch in May. Many details have yet to be finalised and we need the Spirit’s guidance as to what changes, if any, need to be made to our usual arrangements so that this event can be effective in getting information about the Convention in 2019 out as widely as possible. Pray also for Rebecca of Purple Rain who advises us on all aspects of our marketing. PROGRAMMEGive thanks that our schedule of speakers for next year has now been finalised and pray for the committee as we seek to make best use of them during the times when they are available to us during the week outside of the main evening meetings. |
