POINTS FOR PRAYERFINANCEOne of the main aims of Bangor Worldwide when it started in 1937 was to raise money for missions from the local Christian community. This aim has continued ever since to be at the forefront of all our planning. It is disappointing therefore to report that our income in 2019 was down by nearly 10% on the previous year despite our attendances being on a par with 2018. Please pray for the committee as it seeks to deal with this issue and as it explores new and innovative ways of giving to the Convention. PROGRAMMEGive thanks that we have almost completed our planning for the Convention 2020 and that the main elements are now in place. There is still considerable detail to be finalised especially as we look at possible new initiatives so please pray that we will have the guidance we need to know God’s will in each of these. TRUSTEESFollowing several retirements Bangor Worldwide is looking to increase its number of trustees. Please pray that we will be guided to the people of God’s choice who will be able to contribute to the work of the Convention and feel a commitment to it. |
