![]() JANUARY 2022Feliz año nuevo! Bonne année! Happy New Year to all our supporters! If you haven’t the next Convention dates in your new diaries, now is the time to add them in - 19th to 28th August. DID YOU KNOW?There is a weekly prayer meeting held on Monday mornings in Bangor Congregational Church on Central Avenue? This is open to anyone and is a time of fellowship and prayer for missionaries around the world. It begins at 11am and we would value your support. FRESH STARTWhat new resolutions have you set for 2022? If one of them is more exercise, then read Joy Clarke’s article, published in our Convention programme, to inspire you to greater things as she recalls running 850 miles from January to August 2021. Joy, her nephew Jed and father (our Chairman) Tom, raised over £6,000 for the persecuted church! PORRIDGE & PROGRESSEzechiel Hatungimana was moved by the events he saw on Christmas Day in 2014 to start YADA - read the article on how bowls of porridge are helping children in Burundi to get an education and learn more about Jesus. POINTS FOR PRAYERFINANCEGive thanks that despite not having a fully normal convention in 2021 our income was up on last year and only around 3% less than 2019 when we last had a convention unconstrained by the Covid pandemic. We are grateful to God for His goodness to us in this way and pray that as the money is distributed among the mission agencies, they will be encouraged by this boost to their income LAUNCH EVENTS
