Update on Nelun Fernando

First of all the latest from Ajith who was with us last year leading our Bible Readings. He is currently in England speaking at a conference.

He writes,

After some extra time at home because of Nelun’s sickness, it is going to be really tough doing all the travel that I have to do this year. I am hoping that Nelun will be well enough to travel with me for at least one trip later on in the year.

Say a prayer for me. I would love to stay at home! But if God blesses the people, then it would be worth the pain.

We had a wonderful four day volunteer and staff conference last weekend. About 240 were there and it was clear that the Lord had ministered to them. It was particularly encouraging to see a new batch of young volunteers and staff emerging from the ministries in the different parts of the country. The conference was basically run by younger leaders, and they did a great job.

God bless you!

He has responsibility for the area around Jos in Nigeria, where a church was the subject of a suicide bomb attack recently and 3 people were killed. Pray for him as he seeks to give wise leadership and to prevent the local Christians from taking revenge.

Please remember in prayer a meeting which a group of  Christian conference representatives ( including Worldwide ) will be having at Stormont with Arlene Foster, Minister with responsibility for Tourism, on Tuesday 6th March.
