MARCH 2021The days are getting longer and we await the return of spring after a long and difficult winter. We rejoice that, as ever, God has been faithful to us, despite the restrictions placed upon us.
85 TRIATHLON
CHALLENGE UPDATETwo months into their challenge, Jed has now completed 255 lengths of his garden, Joy has run 167 miles so far and Tom has walked over 210 miles. We are really delighted to learn that we have passed our original target of raising £1,000. We were also glad to hear of a lady in Bangor who has decided to walk to Groomsport and back 85 times as her response to the challenge. It is open to all so if you would like to take part, email chairman@bangorworldwide.org or if you are able to donate, click the button below.

The changing government restrictions related to the pandemic are continuing to cause significant problems for our planning for this year. In particular, we have been unable to finalise arrangements for our Launch in May. It seems fairly clear now that our speaker, Zac Eswine will not be able to travel from the USA and we are also uncertain as to which venues might be available to us. Please pray that the government will be wise as it reviews the restrictions and that we will be guided by God to the speaker and venues for this year’s event
There are similar uncertainties related to the convention itself in August. We are confident that our venues will be available by that time but restrictions on speakers coming from abroad are a concern. We have sought to find possible substitutes for those who may be prevented from being with us and have been humbled by the servant heartedness of those contacted, as they have offered to make themselves available should they be required. Give thanks to God for these most gracious answers to prayer
Please pray for a special meeting which we have arranged for the end of March at which we will have to make final decisions regarding the Launch and the Convention so that we can move to the publicity stage of our preparations
