Programme Launch

Give thanks for a good launch of our publicity material for Convention 2013 last Saturday morning in Hamilton Road Church in Bangor.

Our breakfast for local ministers, mission secretaries and agencies was well attended and our prayer is that the leaflets, posters and DVDs now available will be well used to get the Convention known in the wider Christian community.

Church Alive

Give thanks also for the Church Alive events in Bangor and Ballymena  which we organised  jointly with Open Doors and Christianity Explored.

Around 1300 people attended over the 2 evenings and a significant number heard about Bangor Worldwide for the first time. Please pray that they will consider the literature distributed and plan to attend in August.

Pray also that the messages brought by Rico Tice and the other speakers will be a challenge to all who heard and prove fruitful for the churches in this area.

New Website

Finally give thanks for the successful launch of our rebuilt website at the Church Alive events. Reaction so far has been positive and we pray that it will prove to be an effective tool over the coming months and years to make people aware of what’s happening at Worldwide and of mission generally.

Also that many people will take the opportunity to sign up as a prayer supporter and that the new online facilities for supporting the Convention financially and registering for seminars etc. will be well used.
