Publicity Launch

As was mentioned in our last Update, for the first time we have four events planned for our Launch Day on 10th May and we would ask for prayer for each of these. In addition to our usual mid- morning gathering for local clergy and mission agencies, we have a breakfast arranged in conjunction with CBMC for local business people, a Students and Young Peoples meeting at lunchtime and an evening meeting which is open to all, in Hamilton Road Baptist Church. Please pray that we will be able to properly manage such an ambitious programme and that all the details will be attended to in a satisfactory manner. Pray also for all who will be taking part in each of the events especially our main speakers, Richard Dilworth and Rev. David Johnston, and that there will be good attendances. Pray that God would bring along those, especially church leaders, who could assist in getting the work of Bangor Worldwide better know and to a wider audience.

Publicity Material

Give thanks that God has answered our prayers - our posters and leaflets have been delivered in good time and therefore will be available for the Launch. This is a great source of relief to the organising committee !! Please pray as these are distributed over the next months that they would get into the “ right “ hands and be used effectively. Pray particularly for the material which has gone to the hosts of our satellite events in Dollingstown and Magherafelt, that it may that be used to awaken interest in each of these meetings in the surrounding areas.

Congratulations

Jason Brodie, an enthusiastic member of our committee, has recently become a father for the first time and our hard working secretary, Lesley Stewart, a granny again ( twice over ). Please pray that each of these little ones will thrive and bring much joy to their wider family circles.

Best wishes to our Chairman Tom & his wife Mawreath as their daughter, Mary gets married on 20th May
