Video / Audio Recordings

A quick reminder that you can get all the recordings of the morning, evening and seminar sessions on our website - www.worldwidemission.org/media/.

With the exception of a few, due to the sensitive nature of their content, you'll be able to listen back to the morning bible readings with Bishop Ken Clarke, as well as our opening night, where we looked at Egypt and beyond!

Prayer Focus

Website Usage

Give thanks for the significant increase in the use of all aspects of our website especially vimeo, where we host our videos of talks etc. This year we have seen the highest number of loads and plays to date and we have had contact from an astonishing 114 countries. Such has been the interest from China, it would appear that the authorities are actually blocking access to our site. Pray that God would continue to use the messages from this year’s convention to extend His kingdom around the world and that those seeking access will find a way.

Future Conventions

Continue to pray for the committee as we finalise the main plans for 2014 and also give thought to 2015 and 2016. Our desire is to return in one of these years to the Waterfront Hall after the success of out visit there in 2011 so please pray that we guided to right speakers for such an event.

Positive Feedback

Give thanks for the number of positive responses which we have had to this year’s convention both from agencies and individuals. These are a real encouragement and do pray that more will sign on to receive our monthly prayer updates to continue their support.

Churches in Sri Lanka

Ajith Fernando, who took our Bible Readings several years ago has written asking for prayer for the church in his native Sri Lanka. He writes,

"The situation faced by churches doing evangelism remains very serious. The churches of many of the people I have been ministering to recently are meeting in homes in groups of two or three families rather than in a church service. Attacks continue. Pray that the believers would stand firm and grow and that God would deepen the church through this experience of persecution. Pray also for more commitment to upholding religious freedom from the authorities."

Looking forward

The hearts of the people who came

That God will continue to speak in the hearts of those who heard the messages, either at the Convention or through our website, and that there will be a rich harvest because of this in all aspects of missions activity in days to come
