Go Tell It worldwide - Jesus has risen from the dead

With Easter approaching and in an ever changing world, we give thanks that we follow and serve a Risen Saviour who is the same yesterday, today and forever as we bring these our prayer requests to Him.

THEME

Part of our summer 2025 branding has been released on our social media with our new theme - Go Tell It. Feel free to share it on your social media account to tell others about Bangor Worldwide. The official launch events will be next month (May) and we look forward to sharing about them soon.

Myanmar

MYANMAR

As we watch the situation in Myanmar and Thailand unfold, let us pray for God’s mercy, comfort, and healing to surround the people affected by the earthquake. May He strengthen those who have lost loved ones, and provide for the survivors with shelter, food, and hope. May God guide the relief efforts and protect all those working to help. Pray for those working on the Khawngtu Chin Bible Project in Myanmar with Trinitarian Bible Society and other Christian mission agencies stationed in Thailand and Myanmar.

PRAYER POINTS

90TH
CELEBRATION

Give thanks that God has given a very direct answer to our prayers of last month. Our application for financial support to meet the increased expenditure associated with our proposed 90th convention celebrations, has prompted a positive response from a Christian trust and a generous donation has been received. Please continue to pray regarding another application to a separate trust that our anticipated shortfall might be met.

DEVELOPMENT
POST

All the parties who expressed an interest in the post have now been spoken to and a zoom meeting of the committee has been arranged for 1st April to consider how we should move forward to an appointment. Growing the next generation of young people with a passion for the extension of God's kingdom around the world is a vital part of the work of Bangor Worldwide. We have made good progress in this area in the last few years and the appointment of a person to lead the work forward is a critical next step. Please pray that we will be guided to the person of God's choice that the ministry might prosper.

MEETINGS

Please pray for other meetings which are planned for April. On the 7th, our Trustees meet to review the year that has passed and to consider the various reports required by the Charities Commission. Then, on the 30th, the committee meets again. The focus of the agenda will be the Launch events at the end of May. Please pray that we will be guided by God in our plans, and the result would be well attended meetings, which will generate a keen anticipation of the Convention to come in August.
