POINTS FOR PRAYERDEVELOPMENT WORK AMONG YOUNG PEOPLEGive thanks for the progress being made to spread the word about Worldwide among the next generation of Christians growing up in the Province. In particular give thanks for a very successful Breakfast arranged by Jason our Development Worker, for Youth Workers and Interns in the area. New initiatives are likely to arise from this meeting and we pray God will guide as these move to the detailed planning stage. Pray too for further encouragements for Jason. Pray for the ongoing discussions with student leaders to progress the work of mission among this group. COMMITTEE & TRUSTEES MEETINGSPlease pray for the committee and trustees meetings which will take place on the 20th of this month. We will need guidance as we finalise the details of the Convention programme for 2019 and trust that God will provide this through His Spirit. Pray that the Trustees will likewise be guided as they seek to ensure good governance over the committee’s activities. LAUNCHGive thanks that our publicity Launch has been arranged for 22nd of May and that Malcolm Duncan has agreed to speak at it. Pray for guidance as we finalise the details for this significant event in our calendar, for Rebecca who advises on publicity and for Dave as he develops the designs for this year’s literature. Pray too that many, especially local clergy, will respond to our invitations. |
