This month starts our official countdown to Worldwide 16 as we host our launch event on Wednesday 11th May. We are excited as we prepare to celebrate God’s blessings to us over the past 80 years, through our new theme Great is your faithfulness.

Join us at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11th May at Bangor Elim Complex. Free tickets can be booked online.

An offering will be taken during the course of the event and hear about the many events planned for our 80th Anniversary Convention.

Joining us at our Celebration event to be held in Assembly Buildings, Belfast on Saturday 20th August will be Bob McAllister.

Speaker Bio

The McKnights

From the vast range of our 2016 speakers, we introduce Paul and Lesley McKnight. The couple have served with New Tribes Mission in Papua New Guinea since 2003.

They will be part of the evening programme on Tuesday 23rd August and Lesley will be one of the speakers at our ladies afternoon seminar on Thursday 25th August.

Points for Prayer

Publicity Launch on 11th May

Give thanks for the number who have signed up so far for our publicity launch and continue to pray for the organisers as they complete arrangements for the programme. Pray too for the various speakers who will be taking part and especially for Rev. William Smylie who will bring the closing address. Our desire for the event is that those present will not just take away information about this year’s programme but that they will have been enthused by what they have heard and keen to tell others about Convention 16.

Evening Concert

Give thanks for the number of people who have taken tickets for the African Children’s Choir concert in the evening of 11th . This has been encouraging and holds out the prospect of a very busy event. Please pray for Jonny Sanlon who will be chairing the evening and who is also finalising many of the arrangements in the middle of a busy schedule with many other commitments.

Convention speakers

Please pray for our speakers for this year as they begin to prepare for their talks – that they will be inspired and bring messages which we need to hear. Pray also for travel arrangements and that there will be no last minute problems regarding visas etc.
