"IT IS THE WHOLE JOB OF THE WHOLE CHURCH TO PREACH THE WHOLE GOSPEL TO THE WHOLE WORLD" - Charles SpurgeonTHE 2019 LAUNCH EVENTThere is still much to do to spread the gospel to the whole world and with this in mind we're excited about our 2019 launch event on Wednesday 22nd May in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church, Bangor at 7.45pm. Why don't you make a point of coming along to be inspired, blessed and challenged as to what the Lord is doing through His servants. It's sure to be a great evening! OPEN DOORSWatch this video from Open Doors thanking you, Bangor Worldwide supporters, for the financial contributions they received to help them stand for Christians who are being persecuted in countries such as North Korea. MAUD KELLSThose wanting to read more about Maud Kells’ incredible missionary life in DR Congo can read her new book, An Open Door, published by 10ofthose.com and co-written by Jean Gibson. POINTS FOR PRAYERCommittee MeetingPlease pray for our committee meeting on the 15th of this month. The bulk of our time will be spent finalising the plans for our Launch Day on the 22nd. There are many aspects to the Breakfast meeting for local clergy and the Open meeting in the evening which need careful attention and we ask you to pray that all that is prepared is in line with God’s purposes and will bring glory to His name. SpeakersOur main speaker at both Launch events is Malcolm Duncan so please pray for him as he prepares for these talks. We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by Rev Walter Madimutsa SIM Zimbabwe and he will be giving us an update on the situation in Zimbabwe and also the exciting new LEARN Project. Pray also for him that he will be guided as to what to say. AttendanceContinue to pray that we will have good attendances at both Launch events. Our purpose in arranging these is to get information out to churches about the Convention in August and it would be encouraging to have as many represented as possible. The evening meeting is open to all and we ask you to pray that many will take the opportunity to come along. Winnie
