Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention

Dear Colleague

Worldwide 2011 - Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention

Main Content Inline Small

As you may know, I have been privileged to be involved with the Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention for many years.

This year, the Convention celebrates its 75th anniversary and, to mark this, a special opening night is being held in the Waterfront Hall in Belfast. The following extract from the website gives the details:

…To celebrate 75 years of supporting worldwide mission, Worldwide 2011 will commence with a special evening of praise and worship – entitled ‘Across the years and Across the world’, at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, on Saturday 20th August, 2011. Taking part on that evening will be Rico Tice (All Souls Church, London); Ken Clarke (Bishop of Kilmore, Elphin and Ardagh); Ajith Fernando (Youth for Christ - Sri Lanka) and The New Irish Choir & Orchestra!...’

We are really keen to make this event widely known in the greater Belfast area and also across the Province - to encourage churches to promote what should be a very stimulating and challenging evening.

Coffee & Chat

To provide you with more information, I would like to extend to you an invitation to join with me, and Eddie Currie (Convention Secretary), for coffee and a chat on Wednesday 16th February 2011 @ 10.30am in the Newtownbreda church .

If you able to come along on the 16th please reply by email direct to Eddie (secretary@worldwidemission.org) by Monday 14th February. We want make sure there are enough seats for everyone!

With warm best wishes for 2011,
In Christ,
Raymond J. Pitt
