Bangor Worldwide Missionary Convention

Well, the 2012 Convention has been and gone, but on the committee, we're looking forward to 2013 and planning ahead to 2014!

Video/Audio Recordings

Wednesday Night

Don't forget, you can get all the recordings of the morning and evening sessions on our website - www.worldwidemission.org/media/.

With the exception of a few, due to the sensitive nature of their content, you'll be able to listen back to the morning bible readings with John Woodside, as well as our fantastic closing night with the "Vicar of Baghdad".

DVD Recordings

Canon Andrew White

An extra string to our bow over the last couple of years, has been video recording each of the talks carried out over the Worldwide week!

This year, we're pleased to make available a DVD of the weeks' Bible readings. For the princely sum of £5, you can watch John Woodside deliver the 2012 Bible readings.

To order, simply send a wee email to jonathan@worldwidemission.org and we'll arrange payment and delivery.

In addition, we also have a video recording of the Bishop of Baghdad. Just email the address above! This will also cost £5.

Social Media

A quick reminder for those of you who keep up to date with all the goings on in technology, Bangor Worldwide have added Facebook to it's social media sites. You can like us here on Facebook, follow us on twitter with @bangorworldwide or view videos of our speakers on vimeo!

These will be the best places to be kept up to date with all that is planning for the forthcoming year.

Prayer

We praise and thank God for His direct answers to many of the prayers offered on our behalf during the run-up to this years Convention.

These include

  • The best attendance at the opening Prayer Meeting that anyone can remember and numbers at the daily prayer times held up well throughout the week. This solid foundation of prayer, and God’s gracious response, was the source of so much of the blessing which we were to enjoy throughout the week.

  • Excellent attendances at the morning Bible Readings and the evening meetings ( an average of over 600 per night ).

  • Our new initiatives were all well supported with numbers exceeding expectation at the Medical and Learning Difficulties Seminars. Our Childrens Meeting was filled for the first time.

  • A truly memorable closing night when over 1000 people thronged Hamilton Road Church to hear Canon Andrew White. It was an inspirational evening which will live long in the memory of those privileged to be there. One commented  “ it was the closest I’ll get to Heaven until I actually arrive there  “ !!

Please continue to pray for

  • Much fruit from the many challenging messages delivered during the week – for lives to be changed and many to respond to God’s leading.

  • A broadening of our prayer support.

  • The Committee as it meets next week to review 2012 and to progress plans for 2013.
