In the run in to Convention week, we would value your prayers for the following:
- Last minute preparations e.g. the Mission Resources Exhibition; the three afternoon seminars; the technical team; airport pickups, hospitality arrangements, etc
- That there will be a good turnout of people at the (pre) Convention Prayer Meeting on Friday evening 20 August at 8.00pm (in Hamilton Road Presbyterian Church)
- Speakers preparing for their various inputs during the week
- For Mark Buchanan and his family travelling to Bangor from Vancouver Island, Canada.
- For WW2010 speakers bringing a mission challenge in local churches on Sunday 22nd and Sunday 29th August
- Those preparing to lead worship across the week – Alistair Hamill, Melanie Johnston and Colin Stitt (Youth Event), e.g. as they choose songs and hymns for each evening.
Alistair has been suffering from severe nerve pain in his hands and forearms over recent weeks and has asked for prayer for this.
- For the afternoon Seminar for Students (Wed @ 2.00pm). This event is an ‘act of faith’ and we are praying for a good turnout of students.
- The Youth Event on the closing Friday evening, entitled ‘Dangerous & Loud’ – that many young people will attend and be challenged. Pray also for Simon Guillebaud who is the keynote speaker at the event.
- For ‘God’s Great Big World!’, the mission event for Kids on the closing Saturday morning, 28th August
- Why not use the Worldwide 2010 event programme as a daily prayer guide in the week running up to 21st August and during Convention week?

Dr Helen Roseveare DVD
Last year we had the pleasure of Etta Halliday interviewing Dr. Helen Roseveare. We recorded the interview on the night and plan to make a limited number of DVD's available for sale throughout the week. Details are still being finalised but be sure to listen out for an announcement during the week!
New Website
With Worldwide 2010, comes a new website. We plan to launch our new website on the first Saturday of the event so keep checking back!
