Helen Sheridan

Helen grew up in Liverpool in a large Roman Catholic family. Her parents were both from Co Mayo and she enjoyed something of the Irish culture at home. She came to know Christ when she was 27 and has since enjoyed speaking to others about the Lord Jesus.

Helen trained as a Church Apprentice with Co–mission (London) and later studied on the Cornhill Training Course. She has spent 14 years working in church–based ministry, most recently as a Crosslinks Mission Partner with Calvary Mission for the last 3 years.

Helen is now based at Calvary Church Castlebar, Co Mayo where she works as one of a team of four to grow disciples of Jesus. She teaches the Bible to women and children and loves particularly to read the Bible with those who, like herself, come from an RC background.
