2020Summary

Dr. Gary Millar, Principal of Queensland Theological College ( QTC ), Australia will lead our morning Bible Studies at the 2020 Convention. Gary grew up in Northern Ireland and was ordained by the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. He served churches both North and South of the border before being called to QTC.

Don Carson introduces Gary Miller.

Another of our speakers for next year is Lindsay Brown who has been active in work among students for a number of decades. He served as General Secretary of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students ( IFES ) from 1991 – 2007 and continues with IFES as Evangelist–at–Large.

His book “ Shining Like Stars “ on evangelism among students around the world is widely acclaimed. We plan to join with Slavic Gospel Mission to celebrate its 70th anniversary and with Frontiers on their 20th and will have speakers from both mission agencies in our programme.

In addition, we will hear about the work of Christianity Explored in Uganda and the very practical assistance given by LIFT to missionaries in a variety of challenging situations.

Plans are also well advanced to extend our list of satellite events to include one on the North Coast of NI and we are excited about this opportunity to broaden the work of the Convention and make mission more widely known.

Other names will be added to the list of speakers for next year in the coming months so keep an eye on our website for the latest information.
