Christian cross-cultural work
For over 15 years, Avril has been privileged to serve in Christian cross-culture work, working alongside diverse communities both at home and overseas.
Most recently, she has been involved in establishing an organisation called Acacia Path. Acacia Path, seeks to welcome newcomers wholeheartedly in the name of Jesus. We strive to treat all with dignity and respect as image-bearers of God, regardless of their background. Acacia path provides various support services to this end, including English classes, signposting to local resources, and helping navigate a new culture. Acacia Path does this in partnership with local churches, equipping them to embrace their new neighbours with the love of Christ.
