Hassan worked as a journalist and community development worker through peace-keeping initiatives, educational and entrepreneurial programmes for Internally Displaced Peoples for over 20 years in Plateau, Adamawa and Borno States, Nigeria, mostly victims of incessant attacks by Boko Haram and Fulani militia Islamist terrorist attacks. He also trained pastors and Church leaders across various denominations in Christian Apologetics in answering the question of ‘God in suffering’.
Hassan holds an MA in Dramatic Literature, University of Jos, Nigeria. MA in Missions from University of Winchester, UK, an MDiv and a DMin from the Anglican Theological Seminary, Abeokuta, Nigeria and a Certificate in Christian Apologetics from the OCCA, Oxford.
He is married to Hannatu. They have four children: Sharon, Lester and Valerie and Rachael.
