Igor Bandura, vice-president for international affairs, Baptist Union of Ukraine; pastor, missiologist, expert in the field of global partnerships of church and missions. In UK he is partnering with Slavic Gospel Association.
Ukrainian Baptist Union’s main ministry priority is to preach the Gospel, raise a new generation of pastors and evangelists and plant new churches. He is witnessing the work of the Lord even in the midst of calamity of the war and destruction. He is leading voice on the issues of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the role of the church in the time of war. Bandura represents a grassroots network of more than 2,000 churches across Ukraine - local pastors and congregations helping their neighbours day after day as relentless missile attacks continue to destroy people’s life.
Together with his wife, Anna, they enjoy the family of four kids and two little grandchildren.
