Liz Parker grew up in inner-city Liverpool and made a commitment to follow Jesus as a teenager. She was always fascinated by stories of missionary work overseas but never dreamed of the path God would lead her on!
She studied French, then Teaching at University, worked in London as a teacher for several years and travelled extensively in her mid-twenties.
In 2003, Liz married South African Andrew. Together, they prayed about serving God in a new way. A MAF magazine inspired Andrew to train as a pilot and in 2009, Andrew began work as a MAF pilot. They have since worked with MAF in Tanzania, South Sudan, Kenya and currently in Uganda.
