David Garrison

For nearly four decades, Dr. David Garrison has been a missionary pioneer in understanding church planting movements among unreached peoples. He has a PhD in historical theology from the University of Chicago. His books Church Planting Movements (2004), and A Wind in the House of Islam (2014) have been translated into more than 20 languages. Dr. Garrison has served as a missionary in North Africa and India, and as the Associate Vice President for Global Strategy at the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. Dr. Garrison is currently the executive director of Global Gates, a ministry in 29 global gateway cities which seeks to reach the world's least-reached peoples through global gateway cities. He is the husband of Sonia, father of four adult children, and one grandchild. The Garrisons reside in Larkspur, Colorado in the USA.

Dr. David Garrison is the author of Church Planting Movements (2004), and A Wind in the House of Islam (2014), and executive director of Global Gates (USA).
