Since 2007, James has served as the Consulting Director for OMF’s Chinese Ministries, focusing upon mission mobilization and cross–cultural missionary training.

In 1993, James married Mimi (Ke Yeh–min) Taylor, a graduate in voice performance of Soo–chow University (Bachelor Degree) and Boston University (Master Degree).
