Jonathan Morton

Representing: One Mission Society

Rev. Jonathan Morton and his wife Lupita served with One Mission Society (OMS) in Mexico from 1995 to 2008.

They began their ministry by starting the OMS Mexico social outreach program to the poor in Mexico City. This ministry aimed at meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of Mexico’s poor, and through it churches were started, strengthened and Christ’s love demonstrated in a practical way.

In 1999, the Mortons’ main ministry focus became planting new churches. Through different evangelism methods, many were won to Christ, new churches established and local Mexican leaders trained. From 2001 to 2005 Jonathan directed OMS church planting in Mexico and served as the Field Director from 2006 to 2008.

Since August 2008 Jonathan has served as OMS Director of International Ministries, responsible for vision, ministries and staff in Latin America, The Caribbean and Europe. He and Lupita now reside in Indianapolis and have two sons, Daniel and Noah.
