Mihail Malancea

Representing: Academic Dean, College of Theology and Education,

Mikail is the Academic Dean for the College of Theology and Education in Chisinau, Moldova. He serves as National Director of Moldova and Central Asia, in the Training Christians for Ministry International Institute.

 After High School Mihail worked as an auto engineer before a period of military service in USSR East Siberia. He studied for his Bachelor of Theology and Doctor of Theology in Bucharest. His main field is Mission and Islamic Studies.

He was pastor of a Baptist church in Southern Moldova for 3 years before Teaching Theology and History of the Church at Holy Trinity Institute in Chisinau.There he was actively involved in organizing and developing Theological Education in Moldova.

For 2 years he was also the Youth Leader of Baptist Union of Moldova.

He has Church Planted with a group of students from the College of Theology and Education. They planted Philadelphia Baptist Church, Anenii Noi. In one year the church grew to 45 members and in the same time they started another church in the village of Harbovet.

He has been involved in Mission towards Muslims in Central Asia and North Caucasus, Russia.

He has organized and is still developing Theological Education in Central Asia. In 2001 he was involved in developing Theological Education in Chimkent, Kazakhstan. In 2003 he started theological training in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. In 2004 he helped to start theological Education in Tashkent among MBB’S, Cell Group Churches.)

For ten years he was National Director of TCMI Moldova.

For eight years he was National Director of TCMI, Central Asia.

He continues to teach: Intercultural Studies, Current Issues in Intercultural Studies & World views and Cults.

He is able to teach in Romanian, English and Russian.  Teaching areas include Missiology, Islamic Theology, Islamic History and Development of Islam, Pastoral Theology & Worldviews and Cults He is Editor for Pulse of the Ministry Journal and the  author of several published articles. He is currently working on a book called Dimension of Intercultural Mission.
