Give thanks for a good committee meeting last month when we made good progress on the programme for 2015 (and beyond ! ).We are awaiting some responses from potential speakers, so please pray that these will come through quickly and be positive. Give thanks that our Secretary, Lesley Stewart, and her husband Ian had a very successful visit to Papua New Guinea to see first hand the work of a missionary family the McKnights from their church.Please pray for Jonathan Sanlon, another member of our Committee, who goes out to West Papua (Irian Jaya) at the end of this month to film the Hupla people receiving the whole bible for the first time in their language.Remember his preparations and Susan and the family when he is away....

Give thanks to God for a very encouraging financial report for 2013. When exceptional income, such as oneoff legacies, is excluded we have seen an increase in giving again this year and we are delighted that 160 agencies/organisations will receive a donation from Worldwide as a result.Give thanks too that the committee was able to finalise the programme for 2014 at its meeting in December and that only a few details about seminars remain to be resolved. Give thanks for the growing impact of our website and the media associated with it.During Convention week, we had visits to our Vimeo site from 43 countries and this means that we have now had contact from 131 countries since we began this service.Please pray that these contacts will have had a positive impact for the extension of the Kingdom and been an encouragement to some who might have only limited access to helpful material....

Pray for a new Youth event to be held on 16th January ( DV ) which is being organised with the Youth Pastors of the Bangor area.The aim is to present to our young people a range of opportunities for shortterm service this Summer. A number of agencies which have opportunities for late teens / early twenties have been invited to explain what they can offer.
